TOTAL Lunar Eclipse
Submitted by Matt Hinkin on February 20, 2008 - 2:54am.

It's a star gazers delight Wednesday night as a Total Lunar Eclipse takes place in the east Tennesee skies. Here are the detais:
Partial Eclipse Begins: 8:43pm
Total Eclipse: 10:01pm - 10:51pm
Partial Eclipse Ends: 12:09am
Right now the forecast is for a mostly cloudy sky but hopefully we will see some breaks in the clouds. If you want a close up view you can go to the roof of the physics building at UT and view the eclipse through the eyes of high power telescopes. It's a free service from our good friend Paul Lewis and his fellow astronomers.
