Limited Moisture For System Tonight
Submitted by Ken Weathers on January 25, 2008 - 12:38pm.
We will see a fast moving system slide through the area after midnight and before sunrise that could bring a few "light" snow showers or flurries, but it would be a different kind of snow compared to what some areas saw yesterday. Thursday we had some big, quater-sized flakes which went "splat" when they hit the ground. Tonight's light snow/flurries will be a very "fine", almost sugar-like texture which won't really stick to the roads or ground, but rather just blow around. It will not cause any travel problems and temperatures will warm back up into the mid 40s by Saturday afternoon.
