Scattered Strong/Severe Storm Threat Late Today
Submitted by Ken Weathers on Thu, 05/08/2008 - 09:20.
A windy, warm and humid air mass exists across our region today. We will see a few spotty showers through the afternoon hours, but the main threat for strong to severe storms will move in to the region between 6pm and Midnight. There will be a threat for damaging wind gusts with some of the storms and the greatest risk should be back along the Plateau and down through the Southern Valley (see picture below). Stay tuned to the 6 Storm Team for complete coverage of this developing situation.
