Slight Risk For Severe Storms Saturday

The heat and humidity will build up across the region this afternoon, but there isn't much of a "trigger" to spark off "wide-spread" afternoon/evening storms, just hit or miss or pop-up storms. That feature should arrive Saturday afternoon/evening in the form of a vigorous cold front. The dynamics aren't quite as "good" here (as compared to OH/KY) for widespread severe weather, but some wind damage and hail in some locations look possible as these storms should develop into a squall line from midday across S.E. KY and dive rapidly through the Valley by mid-afternoon and the Mountains by evening.
