Will Fay Impact Our Weather In East Tennessee?

The warm and mainly dry weather pattern continues again today with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s for most areas. The could once again be a few pop-up afternoon storms across the Plateau and Mountain areas, but they will be few and far between. Our long range forecast for the weekend will still be based on the track of Fay. The latest has a slow-moving Fay drifting into North-central Georgia by the end of the week with some much need rain in that drought-stricken region. It appears now that even if it doesn't come this far North, way should still see "some" chances for scattered storms over the weekend. Fay's path though will directly impact our rain chances this weekend, so stay tuned to the 6 Storm Team for the latest.
