Not Much More Than Flurries The Rest Of The Day

We will continue to see scattered snow showers across the higher elevations of the Plateau and Smokies into the afternoon with additonal light accumulation expected (especially in the Mountains), so travel could be impacted in spots here. We will only see a few spotty flurries or "LIGHT" snow showers at times here in the Valley the rest of the day mixed with periods of some sunshine at times. No ADDITIONAL travel probles are anticipated in the Valley. Highs will only be in the upper 20s and low 30s today, so bundle up, but tonight we will fall back into the teens and 20s. That means the areas which have seen more significant snows will see a "re-freeze" of any snow/ice covered roads making for dicey travel overnight (no MAJOR concerns for Valley Location). Partly cloudy conditions return Thursday with upper 30-lower 40s and we wil be near 60 by the end of the weekend.
